Description
Leo Fender’s Stratocaster model debuted in 1954 and became arguably the most popular guitar ever made. The revolutionary design included a player friendly contoured body with three pickups and a proprietary combination bridge/tremolo design that allowed for smooth operation and good tuning stability. Popular Stratocaster players include: Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour, Bob Dylan, and many more. The Stratocaster was a huge commercial success and has been in continuous production ever since.

This 1965 Fender Stratocaster in custom color Olympic White has just come from the son of the original owner. His father Roy, an electrical engineer by trade, played country music as a hobby throughout his life until his passing only a few years ago. He took great care of his instrument and never modified the guitar in any way. All parts appear to be original to the guitar except for one replaced saddle height adjustment screw. He even kept the original tag, bridge cover, case key, tremolo arm. The neck and frets are straight and in good playing condition. All electronics are original to the guitar including the oft replaced three way pickup selector switch. The original Olympic White finish is in good condition and shows typical fading, checking, wear, and nicks/scratches. The most significant areas of wear include the forearm area and edge of the body on the treble side.

We’re confident you’ll love the tone and playability from this one owner 1965 Fender Stratocaster in custom color Olympic White.
