1965 Fender Stratocaster in sunburst finish. Plays and sounds great! Serial number: L52365. The neck is stamped December '64. The pickups are grey bottom all marked 2-1-'65. Almost all original with the exception:
The middle tone pot has been replaced.
The Kluson tunes are correct but newer. The tuner post bushings are original.
The Fender logo is almost completely gone from the peg face. Just a small portion of the logo remains.
The pickguard is original but has a small square hole cut out of it near the control knobs.
The tone knob near the input jack appears to be newer.
The pickup selector switch has been replaced with a 5-way switch but the original 3-way switch is in the case.
The original trem spring plastic cover is not shown on the guitar but is included in the case.
Three pickup height adjustment screws have been replaced.
In the trem cavity, there is some slight routing to include 6 small circular depressions.
At one point, newer single coil pickups were installed but the owner put the originals back in. No routing was done under the pickguard.
Frets appear to be original.
She's not mint but she's still a beauty. I have lots of photos upon request.
The hard shell case appears to be original and is in decent shape.
Please feel free to ask questions or request additional photos. Thank you.
