1965 Fender Stratocaster
The perfect example of a Transitional-Era Fender Stratocaster. This 1965 Fender Strat has pots dated January '65, pickups from early February '65, with a 2DEC63B neck date. The neck features clay dots and a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard but it must have been assembled in late '64 or early'65 due to the transitional logo. Modifications include the addition of a vintage 5-way switch and tip, a replacement trem cover, replaced nut, and a professionally done refret. In great overall condition with finish wear, worn edges, dings, and some buckle rash. Sounds great producing a classic 60s Fender tone and plays fantastic with the neck really standing out as it is in great shape with minimal wear/dings and features a comfy slim C-contour. A killer Strat from an important time in Fender's history! Includes original hardshell case.

We offer a 72 hr approval on all guitar & amps (unless otherwise noted). Customer pays all shipping & insurance costs both ways unless otherwise negotiated by sales staff. Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
