VERY CLEAN

Mid-1965 Stratocaster. July '65 to be exact. Think about that folks. July, 1965, at a certain famous folk festival, a certain famous folkie "went electric" on a rosewood board sunburst Strat. Wasn't this one though, this one was in California being born at that time. But how cool is it, to have a Strat from the very month and year Dylan went electric on a Strat? And one that looks just like the one he committed folkie heresy on? Very cool, that's how cool it is. As cool as Dylan in '65, stickin' it to the man. The folkie man. Beyond this extreme cool factor, the guitar itself is fabulous, you don't even have to like Bob Dylan to like this one. Looks great, plays great, sounds great, is great. Long time owner selling.

7 lbs. 7 oz.

Besides missing the arm and a # inscribed on the neckplate, this is a 100% original guitar.

VG condition with only big blemish is a 1" dinger in the top bass horn, but you can tell people that's where Pete Seeger smacked you with his banjo, trying to get you to unplug this evil rock and roll machine. All foolishness aside, this one's a beauty. If you're looking for a '60s Strat, definitely check this one out, it's a great one.

July '65 neck date, Stackpole pots date 16th week of '65.

With OHSC.
