1969-1970 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst

This Fender Stratocaster was made in the USA in 1969-1970. The guitar is an extremely good sounding and playing instrument. The neck dates to 1969 but the pickup are date to January of 1970. Weighing only 6 pounds and 14 ounces, this is one of the lighter vintage strats that we have encountered.  The light weight is partially on account of it being a non-trem "hardtail" model. The pickups are original, but all of the pots and wiring has been updated and changed. The pickup cavities have also been shielded with metallic shielding material, which could be removed. The tuners are not and original and the guitar had other tuners at one point. There are some extra filled tuner screw holes  The plastic parts are original but the guard has a small hole drilled in the middle of the switch slot. The frets are original and the guitar is a killer plater. The decal is original, Hardtail models do not the "Synchronized Tremolo" part of the decal. The guitar has been pro-setup in our shop and is a joy to play. It comes with the original case.

Guitars are shipped by Fedex ground unless other arrangements are made. Guitars are usually shipped within 24 hours of purchase.

We offer a 48 hour no questions asked return policy. If you don't like it, just send it back and we will issue a refund. We do not refund shipping charges and if you pay with a credit card there is a 5% restocking fee. If you pay with cash, check, paypal, or bank wire there is no restocking fee.
