Description

We know you haven’t seen anything quite like this 1970 Fender Stratocaster in its original “Mermaid” Sparkle finish… because we hadn’t either! Not only did the body receive a multicolor Sparkle finish, but the pickguard and headstock did too! As if the sparkle finish wasn’t enough, this guitar is equipped with original gold hardware that looks incredible with the colors of the sparkle burst. This piece was made specifically for the trade show “Musikmesse” in Frankfurt as a stand-out display piece, and it is undoubtedly eye-catching! Thanks to a professional refret and new nut installation on this maple cap neck, this guitar also plays great, and the resonance is just astounding. Amped up, the three well-balanced pickups can provide a variety of beautiful tones. This one-of-a-kind piece still retains its original case and a cool old strap too!

Overall Condition: 9, mild playwear, checking
