Description

This is one of the last 4-Bolt Fender Stratocasters. It plays great and sounds great. It has been played hard and came from a guy who had a bunch of strats that he liked to mess with so the neck has been on at least one other guitar and has some extra screw holes in the mounting area. There is also an extra string tree hole which was filled. The tuners aren't original and it had schallers on it at one time, so some extra holes on the headstock, and there is a repaired stress crack through one of the screw holes on the E tuner. The finish on body and neck is original, although the pickup cavities where painted with shielding paint. There are no routes. The pickups date to 1970, the pots to the 52nd week of 70. The pickguard is not original. The frets are original. It plays really very well and sounds good. It comes with the original case.
