Really vibey 1973 Fender Strat just in. There's something undeniably cool about a naturally "relic'd" Strat, no? It creates such an inviting, cool vibe that makes you want to pick it up and play it for hours. This one is no exception...

This '73 was recently setup and plays great. Acoustically, it's got a loud, snappy voice and is really resonant with great sustain. While it's shows some honest play wear, none of it is over the top or problematic - just cosmetic.

All original save for the bridge pickup which was swapped out years ago for a Dimarzio along with the middle pickup which was replaced with a Seymour Duncan - the neck is original (unfortunately we're not sure which model of Dimarzio / Duncan were used). There's one screw holding the pickguard on which is not original either (you'll see it in the pics - near the neck pickup).

Plugged in, the bridge pickup is pretty hot and has some humbucker-like qualities (a cool thing in our book). It's easy to cop a ton of different tones with this pickup setup - SRV approved neck pickup tones all the way through EVH approved bridge tones are possible - very cool indeed! All electronics work as they should with no issues.

The frets are in great shape with no divots but have clearly been leveled and polished a few times over the years. There's one chip in the clear coat on the back of the neck right behind the 2nd fret. This never bothered us while playing and is pretty common on old Fenders.

All in all, a very cool vintage Strat with all the vibe of it's more expensive 50s-60s cousins! Priced with hardshell case.
