1973 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst / Maple

1973 Strat.
A great "utility" guitar.
Mostly original, but a few changes.........
Once had Grover tuners, now has an original set with oversize bushings.
Refret with med/jumbo frets. The finish from the fingerboard was removed when it was done & now an oil finish ( a lot less sticky).
New bone nut.
Pots & switch (5 way) replaced.
All original plastic ( except the backplate).
The guard has some cracks & a small piece broken off. Still functional and I'll included a repro guard from Pickguardian with recessed holes like the original early 73's had.
All original dated grey bottom 73 pickups that measure 5.49 (B), 5.42 (M), 5.34 (N)
Neck has a 1-5/8ths nut with a profile of .80 at the 1st fret & .92 at the 12th.
Weighs 7.7 lbs.
I have a period correct case for it, but has a light smoky smell ( the guitar does not). If that bothers you, I can switch to an aftermarket case.
All in all this is a Killer guitar with a LOT of personality.
It will serve you well !
