Description

This guitar plays and sounds great! This is a proper vintage Fender Stratocaster made in 1979. The wine red finish has nicely aged into a lush transparent cherry. The neck profile on this one is in the medium to thicker range for a Strat of this era and feels great!

This guitar shows a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. There are some chips on the back and lower body. There's also some checking on the sides of the guitar as well as on the headstock. There is some purple hazing on the finish as shown. The pickguard shows some scratching from normal play and there is some scuffing around the back spring plate. The red wine finish has also aged into a lighter, almost cherry color over time. The frets show normal wear from over the years and the electronics work as they should.

The original pots and switch are included inside the case. The previous owner swapped the wiring harness for a newer McNelly wiring harness.  This guitar appears to be otherwise original.

Includes the pictured OHSC and original pots/switch.
