Fender Stratocaster 1981 Sunburst
1981 Stratocaster Sunburst. The last of the big headstock 3 bolt neck guitars. Serial number still reads as 79' but it is an 81'. This was a weird time at Fender and they would soon change everything. This guitar is suprizingly an excellent player. It is not super heavy and it is a very resonant guitar. The previous owner put sheilding tape in the cavities but left the pickups original. It has a wonderful 3 tone sunmburst and rosewood fingerboard. With it's chunky neck, 5 way switch, and classic looks, it's a guitar that's a great example of the "new" era of Strats to come. It's been setup wonderfully thanks to our techs, and it's growly bridge position or glassy neck position are sure to have you falling in love with yet another guitar.
