1989 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster 7up Green with Case

Summary: The Eric Clapton Strat is a stunning instrument. From its rare sparkling 7-Up green finish to the Eric Clapton boost circuit, this beauty will bring classic tones and modern versatility to the crossroads of ROCK!

Body: This Strat has an Alder solid body with a sparkling 7UP green finish and one ply white pickguard.

Neck: This guitar has a one piece maple neck with 22 frets, 25.5” scale length and 1 5/8” nut width. The neck has 4 bolts and an extra hole in the neck plate for easy neck angle adjustments.

Pickups/Hardware: This beauty comes equipped with Fender Lace Sensor single coils, 5 way switch, 1 volume, 1 tone and the Eric Clapton active boost circuit which is engaged by rolling in the last tone knob to drive your amp. The tremolo system works great and has 6 individual bent steel saddles.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in amazing shape. The finish looks awesome and the frets have been barely played on. There are a few nicks and dings on the top and scratches on the pickguard as well as a little buckle rash but over all its in fantastic shape. There are also a few dents in the finish on the back of the neck and one in-between the first and second fret. They aren’t very noticeable nor do they effect the playability. The Fender decal has some wrinkles and there are a couple of scuffs under Eric Claptons’ signature.

Playability: This Strat has been recently set up by our in house luthier with low action and strung up with a new set of 10s. The neck feels comfortable and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard. The electronics are all working properly and the pickups sound great.
