1979 STRATOCASTER Antigua
Rare color Antigua created by chance!
Stratocaster with the characteristic burst paint called "Antigua".
This color was originally used on the Fender Coronado, which was released from around 1968 to 1972, and was also used on the Stratocaster and Telecaster for a short period of time from around 1977 to 1981.
Around 1978, the PU selector was changed to 5-way on the original, and the sound make-up became wider.
The very heavy Ash unique to this period is used to produce a crisp and clearly contoured sound!
Even with heavy distortion, it produces piercing high frequencies!
