This 1982 Fender Stratocaster was custom made by Larry R. Brooks of Fender USA for The Bands' Robbie Robertson and was utilized by Robbie on stage and in the studio! It features some really unique circuitry with four lace sensor pickups that are grouped in pairs and wired up as humbuckers. The bridge pickup is quacky and perfect for accomplishing those classic Robertson lead tones. For the controls it has master volume, master tone with a pull pot for coil tapping, and a gain control for the onboard active gain circuit that you can kick on with the built in switch. The array of sounds you can get with this guitar is impressive! Cosmetically it is in great shape showing only mild signs of play wear, and some moderate peeling of the finish on the fingerboard. This is a really cool one-of-a-kind Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster & a piece of The Bands legacy! Includes Hardshell Case.
