1979 Fender Natural Hardtail Stratocaster
Summary: The Fender Stratocaster may be the most legendary guitar of all time. This particular Stratocaster is a hard-tail from 1979 and it plays and sounds incredible.
Body: Solid body double cutaway Fender Stratocaster with a natural finish & a black pickguard.
Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with dot inlays, 21 frets, 25.5” scale length, 1 9/16” nut width
Pickups/Hardware: 3 single coil pickups, one master volume knob, 2 tone knobs, 5-way switch, black pickguard & knobs, bullet truss rod, original “F” Fender tuning keys, dot inlays, hard tail bridge.
Cosmetics: This instrument is in great shape and the gloss has held up very well over time. There are some pick scratches on the pickguard & a few dings and scratches on the body of the guitar but the natural wood beauty overcomes any imperfections you could find.
Playability: This Stratocaster plays great up & down the fingerboard. We set it up with a fresh set of 10’s and the action is low & the guitar stays in tune wonderfully.
Weight: 9 lbs, 3 oz.
Case: This Fender comes with the original hard-shell case.
