Okay, this guitar actually started out as a big headstock 1969 Fender Stratocaster... and then somebody decided to make it look like the inside of 70's Chevy Van. YIKES! It has been HIGHLY MODIFIED... and it has NO BRIDGE OR BLOCK... When it first came in the shop we struggled with what do with it. Strip and try to restore? Nope, somebody needs to own a piece of true American Folk Art.

Let's start with what is original on the guitar. The neck (you can still see the Fender logo under the Orange paint and 69 neck stamp date) the body we're assuming (unfortunately you can't see any of the paint stick locater holes). Original fretwire just has a slight bit of diviting on the 1st and 2nd frets. The rosewood fingerboard looks fantastic! The (1969 number neck plate and screws are correct. Neck pickup looks right.

Literally, everything else on the guitar has been changed/modded.

Wrong parts include Schaller tuners, middle and bridge pickups, all electronics, pickguard, knobs, pots.

Assuming it was a Sunburst, if this guitar was all straight it's a $7,500 guitar. With all the issues we figured about 1/5 of that. You gotta start somewhere, essentially this is a project guitar for someone who has the time and means to resurrect the carcass of '60s Stratocaster...

Oh yeah, weight is 7 lbs. 5 oz. without the bridge and block.

No case.
