To the future owner of this incredible Strat Plus, a letter...

Dear Sir or Madam,
To begin, we'd like to congratulate you on your purchase. This Strat Plus is an exceptional example of Fender finery from the late '80s and we are sure you'll be pleased from the first picked note or chord. Just a couple of things before we ship her out to you:

First, like being in a haunted mansion with a group of people, ranging from a drunken heiress grandmother to an evil butler, you have bought yourself a mystery. The serial number is an E4, the sticker with someone's handwritten name on it (Suarte?) is '88, one of the pots is dated '86 while it appears another is dated '88, and the neck date is 3-23-8, with the final and most important digit being left off. The Lace-Sensor pickups are gold, gold silver and through all these puzzle pieces, the guitar is original.

Second: Anticipation. We know that when this guitar arrives on your doorstep, you'll be anxious to play it and that we have prepared the guitar to be just that- played. You'll find no fingerprints or smudges on this blue baby. Rather, it will be like a newly arrived kitten that is ready for you to raise in the manner you deem fit. Whether it be the Blues, Rock or South Texas Mambo Jambo, this Strat will be ready to take you to the heights of wherever you want to go. I once heard an old man say, "If'n you're going to a horse race, don't take a plow mule." My new friend, you will soon have yourself a racehorse.

Finally, Truth. With nothing on this earth being truly perfect, this music maker has a few small imperfections. You'll see a few light surface scratches on the back and a small ding on the edge, by the input jack, but the overall condition of this instrument is very, very clean. She's been well cared for over the years and when I put our tech on it to make double OG- triple OG- double OG sure that it was adjusted and tweaked to its maximum potential, I got the thumbs up. We feel she's ready to come to you.

Finally, we thank you for your trust in us- my business tells me all the time that "We sell certainty in uncertain times" and I believe that with all my heart. Please take a look at the photos and let us know if you have any questions because, if you answer the phone with a smile, the person on the other end of the line will know you're smiling. Actually, we'll be grinning and have been for a long time...
