They say Leo Fender's all time favorite amp was the tweed Super and I can see why. This amp has some killer tone. It's all original including the filter caps and the trannies. That's pretty unusual. Maybe there's a changed resistor I didn't catch but it's as original as they come. I took out the original, very tired (re-coned) P10Rs and put in a set of 1960 P10Qs which sound way better. I will have the R's reconed but you can have either (or both for an additional charge). Panel is near perfect. Tweed looks unusually good-looks like it has metal corners at some point. Handle is a high end replacement. Tubes are all vintage (Bugle Boys, Phillips, RCA). Here's a not so well kept secret...the Super is identical to the more expensive (and heavier) tweed Bandmaster. It simply has one less speaker.
