1961 Fender® Super Brown, Excellent, $2,999.00
Early '61 Brown 6G4 circuit Fender Super in super clean condition. Aside from a fresh recone on the 1960 dated Jensen speakers (unfortunately the cones had dry rotted), this amp is in 100% original condition. The tubes are old vintage period correct Amperex rectifier, Tung Sol 5881's and assorted Motorola and Sylvania preamps.
The insides have all the correct Astron Electrolytics, blue molded caps etc.
The filter capacitors show some signs of dimpling but we have direct instruction from consignor to keep if off of the bench and everything under the hood original.
The amp is in AMAZING condition for it's age and even has original one button footswitch for vibrato.
The amp has had bottom casters at some point in it's life and show the mounting holes.
