~1962 Fender Super Amp, With Original Cover & Original Footswitch Nice!

Right out of Bakersfield ! Nice clean original Leather Handle Model 6 G4-A Brown Tolex Fender Super with Wheat Grill, the original brown single button footswitch, and it’s original canvas cover.

A true 2 * 10 Jensen Blue Frame P10Q classic with original speakers, one of which I had re-coned professionally. Power caps professionally replaced. Power cord is the original grey two prong cord, which you may want to change out for safety reasons.

This was purchased locally from the original owner’s family. This gem includes the original

“Parlier’s Music Co.” Bakersfield, California metal tag on the top of the amp. It doesn’t get any more “Bakersfield Sound” than this. Supposedly, Merle Haggards mother bought him his first guitar at Parlier’s Music in Bakersfield.

The 5 watt amp craze is over-rated! They have their place, but nothing beats a bigger sound.

Chassis impressed # is 54229 on back of amp, upper right-hand corner.

Look at the photo with the speaker code & you can see the original black factory staples holding the original grill cloth in place.

1st rubber stamped character of the date stamp on the tube chart is illegible. The second character is C , so it was made in the month of March.
