Description

This is a survivor, unmolested 1966 Fender Tele neck in EXC condition. The neck is 100% original, including frets, nut, string tree, and ferrules. The neck date is 3 JUN66 B, the neck thickness is nice and medium at .85/1st fret and .93/12th fret.

There is moderate fret wear on the 1st 3-4 frets, some grooves in the fretboard at the 1st 4 frets. The back of the neck is very nice with no gouges and just a few minor nicks. The fretboard is dark Brazilian Rosewood with an attractive grain pattern. The neck plays great with the original vintage wire fret.

No other tuners have ever been on this neck. The neck is being sold with the original ferrules(never removed) and some newer MIJ Kluson-style tuners. I do have the original double-line Kluson tuners with attachment screws which were on the neck when I got it. They are available for purchase separately - please inquire about those.

Overall, this is a very nice original 1966 Tele neck - they are getting harder and harder to find in this original and unaltered condition!
