Description

Here is a real 1952 Fender Telecaster that has been around the block. beat but sweet, perfect for the player or for restoration.

The neck and body are original, 1952. Neck is dated 9-15-52. Retains original D stamp and TG initials. The logo has been redone and the neck has been over sprayed.

Neck plays fantastic with classic vintage feel. Guitar is light and resonant and has that classic spank of a vintage original '50s Tele.

This guitar once had a locking tremolo on it at some point in it's life and as a result has a filled body route. The finish was redone in that area, but the finish seems to be original around the rest of the body. It seems like when the body was filled there was a finish done made to match the original and blended in. The neck also has a few filled holes on the back of the headstock from the locking trem which was once on it.

The body has a crack in it that has not been repaired. Guitar plays as sounds great regardless, so we just left it as is. We left this guitar exactly the way we got it, as it is playing well and would be great for a restoration job.

The pickups are not original, neither is the bridge or the tuners. We are not sure of the make of the pickups, but they sound great. The real parts of value here are the neck and the body.

This guitar is sold as is, as pictured, it would be a great restoration project or a players guitar.

Comes with a Fender tweed hard case as pictured.
