1952 Fender Telecaster Black Guard. This is an all Tadeo guitar, with both body and neck shaped by Tadeo Gomez. This guitar is 100% original other than the finish on the body and on the neck. The body was refinished in Translucent Butterscotch Blonde, Nitro Lacquer, by Fiesta Finishes™. The neck was also refinished in clear Nitro Lacquer.

All of the parts on the guitar are original, including pickups, pots, bridge, knobs, switch, control plate, Kluson "No Line" tuners, strap buttons, and original Black Pick Guard.

No extra holes have ever been drilled in the guitar, tuners have never been replaced, no extra string tree holes, no humbucker route, no cracks, etc. Body on upper bout had been countoured/rounded, and this was professionally repaired with Fender spec swamp ash, no filler whatsoever. Very clean original guitar other than the body/neck refinish and an older refret.

The serial number is 2665. The guitar weighs 7 lb. 2 oz. Medium to full C neck, not too big or too small, measuring .859" at 1st fret and .991" at 12th fret. The body date is Tadeo 9-10-52, and the neck date is TG 9-22-52.

Neck pickup measures 6.0K Ohms. Bridge pickup measures 7.1K Ohms.

Great sounding and great playing Black Guard. Rare to find one with all its original parts, especially at this price point.

The guitar ships in an older, 80's Fender Tweed re-issue case.

Satisfaction guaranteed, keep the guitar for 48 hours, and if not fully satisfied, return for a full refund minus the shipping charge.
