This extremely well-kept and original 1953 Fender Telecaster in Blond is a standout in our showroom. It is clear whoever owned the guitar deeply cherished it, as it shows the slightest gentle playwear on the fretboard and hardly any marks on the body at all! The frets themselves are in great shape, and the playability/resonance of this guitar lives up to the blackguard mythos. There is some bleeding from the case lining on the back of the guitar, further proving that this Telecaster clearly spent time in its original case when it wasn’t being played. We love the mysterious date, “3-27-54”, applied with stickers inside the bridge cover. You can also faintly make out an “N” stamped right below the solder!
Overall Condition: 9, fretboard playwear, pickguard wear, and slight edgewear
