1966 Fender Telecaster, maple cap fingerboard. This is a super clean, all original, one owner guitar, with original case and very little wear. The one flaw is that the owner at some point applied stripes to the finish with tape. While this did not damage the finish, it has created differential aging of the clear coat, such that the stripes can been seen, though faintly. We expect that in time, the fading will blend away.
The serial number is 155XXX, neck date is AUG 66. Pots are coded 304 6612. The guitar weighs 7.1 lbs. The neck pickup measures 7.2K Ohms and the bridge pickup measures 6.5K Ohms. The nice, full, "C" shaped neck measures .844" at 1st fret and .925" at 12th fret.
This is a great looking, and great sounding Tele, from one of the best years, in really fine condition. Highly recommended.
