Description

1966 Fender Telecaster.
Blonde with maple cap neck.
Same owner since 1982.
Original finish on neck & body.
No routes/mods/repairs.
Decal has flaked a bit but mostly intact.
Frets are original, but low (still very playable).
Neck pickup is original.
Tuners are original with the exception of the high E (exact aged repro).
So, here’s what’s not original.
Pots & switch are recent.
Pickguard appears to be a 68-70 with Pearl back. Not 100% sure, but it’s old......
Knobs are probably the same era.
New nut (could use a shim).
The bridge is original , but the saddles are aged correct era repros’. Some of the pictures show brass saddles .......but it has the correct repros in the first picture.
Bridge pickup is either a really early 52 Fender flat pole reissue, as it was in the guitar in 82, or a real 55 flat pole.
The case is early 70’s.
All in all a killer guitar that plays well and sounds great !
Oh, weighs 7.5 lbs.
