1969 Fender Telecaster. This is certainly one of the finest late 60's Telecasters we have ever seen. Super nice, clean guitar, not heavy, plays and sounds great. If you are looking for a good late 60's Tele, read on, you do not want to miss out!
The guitar is, of course, all original with no mods or changes whatsoever, right down to the '69 only Pearl backed Pick Guard. Aside from some light body wear and a few paint chips, the guitar is in pristine, near Mint condition.
The serial number is 264345. The cryptic neck date code used during this period dates the neck to 10/69. Pots are coded to '66, typical to all Fender Teles manufactured between '66 - '71. Not a heavy one as common during this period weighing just 7.7 lbs. Nice, big neck, measuring .856" at 1st fret and .939" at 12th fret.
The original sales receipt is included with the guitar, and the '69 "Ash Tray" pickup cover is also included.
The vintage Fender black Tolex case looks to be slightly later, perhaps 70's.
Satisfaction guaranteed, keep the guitar for 48 hours, and if not fully satisfied, return for a full refund minus shipping charge.
