Description

Featherweight 5 lbs. 10 oz.

Okay, we had a '69 Tele Thinline body all straight but with the wrong neck. We recently found a

Jan. '69 date neck and married them to make a complete '69 Telecaster Thinline in VG+ conditon. The neck appears to have replacement tuners at one point in it's life, has left holes that are mostly covered with the original tuners. Low E tuner hole reamed out larger. The neck profile is great, Round and comfortable. Thick-ish, but not a baseball bat. Feels just right. The frets are crazy low though. Not worn out, but low to begin with, with finish applied liberally, as was norm for the era.

The ash body has a crack at the F-hole. No threat at all to structual integrity.

Neck plate has an ID# etched into it, common practice then.

The bridge pickup is original but has been rewound.

Has period correct Fender orange lined case.
