1969 Fender Telecaster, all original, Custom Color Olympic White, in "well loved" condition. This beauty has mojo to the max, well aged, and hugely faded and checked.
Everything on the guitar is original, right down to the screws, finish, hardware, pick guard, and electronics, including pickups, pots, switch, and wiring. Everything works perfectly. The only changes are that the bridge saddles appear to be the earlier threaded version, and the back edge of the bridge has been slightly relieved, presumably for palm comfort.
The original frets do show some wear, primarily on the first seven frets, as the guitar was "Cowboy Chorded." The frets in the upper register are like new.
The guitar plays and sounds amazing, and is certainly one that is hard to put down. Very nice, medium to full "C" neck, measuring .869" at 1st fret and .945" at 12th fret. Feels great in the hand. Pickups sound killer and have perfect vintage readings, 6.9K Ohms at the neck and 6.3K Ohms at the bridge. The guitar weighs in at 7 lb. 12 oz.
Truly one of the best sounding late 60's Tele's we have every played. You cannot go wrong with this one. Please do look at the photos carefully. This guitar has lots of wear, paint chips, heavy checking, and heavy fading of the finish... but it's all real and earned!
