Vintage 1977-78 Fender Telecaster with the Original Factory Hard-Shell Case. 8 lbs 2 ozs on the digital scale.
A true closet classic! This Tele spent most of its time under the bed/closet in a smoke free climate controlled environment. The instrument is in Very Good Condition (See Grading Description below). It has just been set up, so it will play out of the box. This Tele plays with low consistent action free of dead spots. This is a great one!
Condition
Frets : Very light marks that can be buffed out in the cowboy chord position with steel wool.
Body : No rash through the finish. No major denting or chipping
Pick Guard: Original
Electronics: All electronics work as they should.
Neck and Truss Rod: Truss rod is function. The neck is straight and true.
Hardware: Screws and bridge show some finish wear as expected and saddles look new, but a set of Wilkinson Compensated Saddles are included.
Tuners: Hold tune and the High E tuners shaft at some point has been compressed, but works perfectly. A complete set of New Fender OEM Tuners are included.
Pickups: Solder joints appear original. Pots have been cleaned and lubricated.
Pickups Quack and Twang as expected from a good ole Tele should.
