It's no surprise that after all these years the Tele is still the undisputed king of the electric guitar. There have been subtle to drastic changes to it over the years but there has always been a traditional version like this vintage 1981. It's the classic formula with an all maple neck, ash body, string-through-body 3-saddle ashtray bridge, and 4-bolt neck joint. It's done up in a rare Sienna-burst finish that just kills a normal three-tone burst. It is in very good condition with no breaks or repairs. Tele's are so adept at crossing genres, they evolve with you and tend to get a fair bit of play (who needs five guitars when you can have one good Tele?) so it's no surprise to see some bumps and nicks and some tarnishing on the bridge. The wear is minimal and the guitar has been well cared for. This one feels more like an LP in weight so it's for those seeking a very solid feeling Tele. The original frets are in good shape too though so it was a breeze to set this one up and it plays like a champ. We love the bridge pickup on this one, nice and steel-y, keep for amp clean for some great for country tones but crank it up and the you get plenty of cut for rock.
