Another new arrival, this 2017 Fender 50s Relic Custom Shop Telecaster with a one-piece, light ash body. Someone added a McVay bender to the guitar, an upgrade that costs about $1000.
Benders usually add weight to a guitar, but this one still remains under 7 pounds. Its a resonant piece that is ultra comfortable to play, thanks also to the killer neck.
The guitar was professionally routed for a P-90 in the neck position. A 50s style black pickguard is included that would allow you to put it back to the killer pickup combo that is a P-90 in the neck and the traditional Tele in the bridge. The pickups currently in the guitar are the original Fender parts.
All the original paperwork and other goodies are included in the original case.
