Not just another average run of the mill bass. Just in a 1968 Fender Telecaster Bass in Pink Paisley! These basses are super cool and super rare. Fender original only produced Telecasters and Telecaster Basses in this paisley finish between 1968 and 1969. They took pink paisley wallpaper and covered the bodies with it and then sprayed over the wall paper with a light burst and a clear coat. This one has had the finish removed from the sides and was resprayed with a clear coat, leaving the original paisley intact. The neck pocket is stamped 23NOV68C. The pick up has also been rewound. Besides these modifications the bass is all original. It comes with its original hard shell case. The Telecaster bass is essentially the same instrument as the original Precision bass (same body shape, pick up, electronics, covers, etc). This is a great playing bass with a super psychedelic look.
