Summary: A beautiful Fender Custom Shop 1960 Telecaster Custom. This is a tremendous player and it is in great shape with a factory relic job and some wear from use. With a recent setup and restring by our in-house guitar tech, this double bound Telecaster is ready to go.
Body: Alder fully bound body
Neck: One piece maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, medium C profile, 7.25” radius. 1 5/8” nut width, 21 frets, vintage Kluson-style tuning keys with metal buttons.
Pickups/Hardware: Original Hardware and original Fender custom shop pickups with regular modern
telecaster 3 way pickup selector.
Cosmetics: This Telecaster is in great shape with apparent wear, nicks, and dings that are
part of the Custom Shops meticulous relicing job. The pickguard has some very faint marks from play and there is some buckle rash on the back of the guitar. It all lends to the feel and mojo of a used but not abused vintage guitar. There are two small divots of rosewood on the treble side near the 2nd and 4th fret that have been filled & sealed by our luthier.
Playability: Our in-house luthier just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar
with a new set of .010s and it is playing beautifully with low action
and a straight neck. The frets are in good shape with only light wear
and no divots or dents.
Weight: 7 lbs, 1 oz.
Case: This Fender comes with the original Custom Shop hard shell case with COA.
The case has some scuffs on the handle but the hinges are working fine. We ship professionally packed and fully insured.
