1976 Fender Telecaster Custom Refin

Summary: With a wide-range humbucker at the neck and a traditional single-coil bridge pickup, this Telecaster Custom is a versatile workhorse with lots of character & that great Fender sound. This guitar has been refinished & it does show lots of wear but it plays and sounds great.

Body: Solid- body refinished.

Neck: Maple neck with dot inlays, 3-bolt neck plate, Bullet truss rod

Electronics/Hardware: Original wide range humbucker at neck position, original Telecaster bridge pickup. Two volume and two tone controls. Three way pickup selector switch. Through-body bridge with individual barrel saddles, Grover replacement tuning keys, chrome hardware, white pearloid pickguard.

Cosmetics: This old Fender is in pretty good shape – I do see normal signs of wear like pick scratching on the pickguard, various dings & nicks on the body, lots of wear on the neck, holes on the back of the headstock where the original tuning keys were – all wear is consistent with a vintage guitar that has been played but loved.

Playability: This Fender Tele’s playability is excellent with low action and a new set of 10’s. The original pickups are strong and full of character; the bridge delivers snappy twang while the neck humbucker is big and warm.

Mods/Repairs: The body has been refinished and the bridge pickup has white paint on the top of it. The original tuning keys were replaced with Grover tuners. The pickguard and knobs are later replacements.
