2018 Fender Telecaster Custom Heavy Relic (1960 reissue) Vintage White
We had a couple of these come in last fall, and man did they go quick! We've got two more, including this 2018 in Vintage White.
Teles with binding are so cool. Sometmes I wonder why they don't make them all this way!
This example weighs in at 7lbs 6oz, with a lightweight alder body, rosewood board and white fretboard inlay.
There are several changes that a customer of ours has professionally done to most of his guitars. He does retain the original parts, so it could be made to be original again.
Changes include a pickup swap to DiMarzio Area series, vintage voiced "noiseless" pickups. Check out the DiMarzio website for details on these vintage voiced pickups. They really do sound great, and the original pickups are in the case. The bridge pickup does have one shortened lead - see pics.
Frets have been very professionally changed to jumbos: Jescar FW57110, equivalent to Dunlop 6100. The fret work is impeccable. The jumbo frets really let you dig in too.
Brass saddles have been added, original saddles are in the case. All else is original.
