Used 2017 Fender Telecaster Deluxe serial number MX16799783.

This guitar is in excellent condition, neck and frets are fine. Cosmetically quite clean.

This guitar was born as a straight-ahead Telecaster Deluxe ’72 reissue and now features some customization.

The previous owner upgraded the tuners to locking Hipshot units. A 920D pickguard/pickup assembly was also installed. This one uses the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates neck position and Trembucker Pearly Gates bridge position (not precisely the 920D Shiflett set up). Both with coil taps. This pickguard assembly sells for $309.99

The Telecaster has long been a favorite guitar for customizing. Many variations have appeared throughout the years with several different pickup configurations including a humbucker in the neck position, three single-coil pickups and even dual humbuckers with special wiring schemes.

The Telecaster Deluxe featured two Fender Wide Range Humbuckers, it was produced from 1972 to 1981 and has since then been reissued. The Telecaster Deluxe sported a large headstock similar to the Stratocaster, maple neck and a contoured body, as well as a tremolo bridge option on models manufactured after 1973/74.

One-piece maple neck with "C" profile, "bullet" truss rod and "large" Stratocaster headstock

12"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets

Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Neck and Pearly Gates Trembucker pickups

Four control knobs (volume and tone for each pickup) with coil taps

Vintage-style string-through-body Stratocaster hard-tail bridge

Three bolt “Micro-Tilt” neck

Locking Hipshot Tuners
