Honoring the mid-sixties model is the Custom Shop version: the Fender Limited 1964 Telecaster Relic is a one-of-a-kind vintage blast-from-the-past, decorated in a serene Aged Lake Placid Blue relic'd finish that gives it a worn-out look, along with a tortoiseshell pickguard and aged chrome hardware.
Masterfully-crafted in America, this amazing Telecaster features a stunning two-piece alder solidbody with a vivid resonation, matched by a '60s-style oval C-profile quartersawn round laminated maple neck home to a brilliant AAA rosewood fingerboard. Lining the fingerboard is twenty-one narrow tall 6105 frets, complete with mother of pearl inlays and side dots — adding stylish nuance to the throwback style.
Loaded with a pair of hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster single-coil pickups, this guitar screams with extreme vintage twang. It can be shaped into the sound of your choice using the modern Tele control scheme, consisting of Greasebucket circuitry and a three-way blade switch. The vintage style Tele bridge rounds everything off, making sure your intonation and tuning are perfect.
