1982 Fender The Strat Walnut
Here's a rare 1982 Fender "The Strat." 100% original example! Overall the guitar is in nice shape, with some light play wear. No breaks, cracks, repairs. These were originally introduced in 1980 as an upgrade to the American Std Strat. It features 22k gold hardware, American Black Walnut body with matching headstock, and a 4 bolt neck. Also unique, it has a 2-way rotary pickup selector switch, that combined with the 5-way selector, provides 9 different pickup combinations. All the tones are useable and sound really cool. The guitar plays great, with fast playing low action, and clean frets. It has a heavy brass tremolo as well, that not only works great, but adds extra sustain. The walnut body is super grainy, and gives the guitar a ton of vibe!! Awesome guitar. OHSC!
