This Fender reverb unit must be one of the last of the brown tolex production units. The control panel is black, and the logo is or the mid-60's style that graces transition amps of this year and those from 1964 and on. The tube chart stamp is MI, dating it to September of 1963.
I checked it out personally on arrival and replaced the 6V6 and one of the preamp tubes with brand new JJs. It sounds perfect now, perhaps partially thanks to all the original parts in the circuit. All transformers and pots date to 1963. All the caps are original, as is the power cable. This one is stock with the exception of the reverb tank (which appears to be older for sure and works great) and if you plan to use it a lot I would plan to service it. I'm just going to leave it as it is becase it is pretty rare and cool to find one that is completely stock.
Condition is excellent with some tolex wear here and there. The control panel is pretty darn clean too!
