Offered for sale:
Used 1996 Fender U.S. Vintage ‘62 Stratocaster serial number V076422.
This guitar is in very good condition, neck and frets are fine, cosmetically slight playing wear. The back cavity cover plate is missing and the 50th Anniversary Sticker on the back of the headstock is faded. The pickups have been upgraded to Fender Texas Specials and a 5-way selector switch has been added.
We acquired the guitar with Strap Lock style strap buttons and String Saver saddles. We replaced the saddles with a set of new Fender reissue saddles.
Originally introduced as part of U.S. Vintage Series. The name was changed to "American Vintage" Series in 98.
The '62 Vintage model featured specifications exactly matching the famed 1962 Stratocaster, including body contours, neck shape, vintage style tremolo and bridge. And this one comes in the very desirable custom color of Fiesta Red.
We acquired this guitar with no case. We supplied the tweed Fender G&G case.
“We carefully inspect every instrument when we buy it and bring it up to our standards before we offer it for sale. We also do a full set up before we ship. If you decide to purchase this guitar, please let us know what gauge strings you prefer.”

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
