1981 Black&Gold Telecaster
The Black & Gold Telecaster model was produced in 1981 as a limited Collector's Series.
The matching head, gold parts and exclusive head decal give it a distinctive look.
The neck is a narrow, soft V-shape and the guitar features the original, sturdy bridge that was also sold separately as part of the Brassmaster series at the time.
The neck pickup is original, but the bridge pickup has been changed to a single-coil type used on the American Standard, and the pots have been replaced with recent CST ones.
The entire body has been buffed and the neck has been refinished with lacquer (no reshaping).
There are three sticker marks on the body top, a relatively large dent on the back that reaches the wood, and many small dents throughout the body.
The frets are slightly dented mainly in the low position and there is about 70~80% remaining overall. There are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
