The Fender USA Highway One series is a cost-effective model that is made in the USA at an affordable price.
The price was achieved by omitting some of the painting process, but the thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish is used to achieve the "sound" of the wood in this popular series.
This model features an alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, and original pickups.
The bridge is a vintage-style spiral saddle, which was used before the BADASS II specification.
The price range is similar to the current Fender MIJ, etc., but the sound is different from the bright sound of Japanese-made guitars, and has a mellow sound typical of USA-made guitars!
