1968 Fender Vibrolux Reverb "Silverface"

An incredible "Black Line" era Vibrolux Reverb, this 1968 model features the brand new "Silverface" cosmetics but with the same circuit as the earlier "black panel" Models. This 2x10" combo is seen by many to be the perfect size amp for most gigs; loud enough to get over a drum set and full band but compact enough to be moved easily. This amplifier was owned by renowned Nashville musician and multi-instrumentalist Jim Oblon, an in demand sideman who can be seen on stage with legends like Paul Simon. It features a replaced pair of 10" Jupiter speakers, one alnico and one ceramic for the best of both worlds! The lush reverb and Tremolo make this an extremely versatile amp while the rare "blackline" faceplate make this a very hard to find, transitional model!
