The same attention to detail, high quality components and excellence in design and tonal qualities are present in Flinthill banjos, which incidentally, are no longer being manufactured.
This model 260 pays homage to the Gibson Style 11 banjos of the ‘30s and early ‘40s. with their pearloid backed resonators and peg head overlays. This banjo has a high quality tension hoop, one-piece flange and a sand cast flathead tone ring, which is an improvement tonally over the original rolled hoop variety.
The sound is bright, loud and still retains the rounded bass tones on the bottom “D” string.
In terrific condition, devoid of fret wear, and set up ready to play.
