Focusrite MH-442 ADC Expansion Card for ISA 428
The MH-442 coupled with the Focusrite ISA 428 is a great way to get into some serious pro channels of mic pres and AD converters. The MH-442 ISA 428 ADC expansion card features 8 channels of high-end AD converters. Installed in the ISA 428, channels 1-4 of MH-442 are hardwired to channels 1-4 on the ISA 428. The remaining channels 5-8 on the MH-442 can be used with any 4 channels of other mic preamps. We've been testing out a lot of higher end mic pres and AD converters and the Focusrite ISA 428 really shines. Very musical preamps. The pre and AD combo is killer.

Plus, it supports both standard Word Clock and the Digidesign-specified 256x "Super Clock" for sync compatibility with Pro Tools hardware. AES/EBU, S/PDIF and ADAT optical outputs: The MH-442's digital audio outputs include AES/EBU (both single and dual wire specs), S/PDIF and ADAT formats (ADAT is maximum 96kHz via 2 ports) with sample rates selectable between 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 and 192kHz, 16, 20, and 24 bits with adaptive dithering.
Connections are via 2 x 9-pin D-type connectors and standard ADAT optical connections. Word Clock is via BNC in and out. AES/EBU and S/PDIF outputs via dual 9 pin D-type connectors.
