Description

Offered is this spectacular Froggy F12 Deluxe with Florentine cutaway built in December of 2011. This guitar is just incredible. It has a large guitar sound while being more comfortable to play thanks to the slightly shallower depth of it's body. It has a 16" wide body, a depth of 4.125", a 25.25" scale length 12-fret neck, 1 3/4" nut width and 2 3/16" saddle spacing. Other specs include: an exquisite Adirondack spruce top; Indian rosewood back and sides; sharp cutaway; low profile C-shaped mahogany neck; ebony fret board; curly maple body binding, heelcap, end and heel grafts; abalone fret board inlays, headstock logo, rosette and back center strip; and gold Waverly tuners. A K&K Pure Mini pickup has been added to facilitate amplified playing.

The tone of this guitar is big, rich and with lots of the chime that Froggy's are known for. It plays superbly and is freshly setup with light gauge (.012"-.053") 80/20 bronze strings, with 9th fret string heights of 5/64" on the low E side and 4/64" on the high E side.

This guitar has been superbly cared-for and shows only very light evidence of play on the body and pickguard. The worst flaws are a couple of tiny impressions on the top (see photo) which can only be found on extremely close inspection.

It comes in a fabulous Hoffee carbon fiber case, a $1,200 Froggy upgrade. As equipped, a new example of this incredible acoustic would cost well over $10K. Get this beauty for thousands less. Nothing plays and sounds quite like a Froggy!
