Description

Offered is this magnificent Froggy Bottom H12 Limited Koa built in 2018. Oh what a marvelous piece this is! The grand concert-sized H12 is the most popular Froggy model. Once you play one, it is easy to see why. It's a guitar that is big enough to have power and clarity, but small enough to be extremely comfortable to play. It is an extremely responsive guitar which can be played nicely either finger style or with a flat pick. It's 12-fret geometry puts the bridge in the sweet spot of the sound board for a clear, rich, well-balanced tone.

The specs for this gorgeous H12 include: Upgraded and highly figured Koa for the top, back and sides; flamed Maple binding; Abalone for the rosette and backstrip; a Mahogany neck with Froggy's sleek C-shape and depth measurements of .84" at the first fret increasing to .92" at the ninth; fancy Limited model abalone top border inlays, a 12-fret, 25" scale length Ebony fretboard with Limited grade #7 green Abalone inlays; a 1-3/4" bone nut; an Ebony bridge with bone saddle and 2-5/16" string spacing; and nickel (rather than gold) Waverly tuners as specified by the original owner.

This is a modestly sized instrument (15" lower bought), but it sounds anything but small. The subtle harmonics that emanate from this guitar with just the slightest touch of the strings will amaze you. Michael and company picked a moderately dense and nicely figured Koa set for this guitar and the resulting guitar has a voice that is nicely balanced and warm sounding, as well as drop dead gourgeous. It plays effortlessly, with 12th fret string heights of 6/64" on the low side and 4/64" on the high side. Please check out the brief sound sample and the YouTube video of this remarkable instrument in action.

This fabulous instrument remains in near mint condition with little to no evidence of play, frets included. It comes in it's similarly mint black AVS case. You will not easily find a "used" instrument in better condition than this lovely Froggy H-12 Limited.

To purchase this guitar new would cost you $15K. Get is near mint 2018 example for half that sum. Just a beautiful playing, sounding and looking acoustic instrument from Froggy Bottom Guitars. Fabulous indeed!
