Mike Fuller's Tube Tape Echo took the guitar world by storm, being the first modern-built take on the famous Maestro Echoplex EP-2 Tape Echo in the market. The success of the TTE pushed forward the follow-up of the SSTE, which gave players access to a solid-state EP-3 tape echo unit built on the same platform as the TTE.

Integrating a true tape echo unit into your rig is quite the experience; there's nothing like the feel and tone of the heralded preamp along with harmonically rich and musical delay/echo. From vintage slap back to expansive lead sounds and oscillating madness, the SSTE is that piece of gear in your stable that becomes an instrument unto itself.

The Fulltone SSTE - just like an EP-3 - relies on a solid-state preamp using transistors in lieu of tubes. The result? A cleaner, brighter tone to the repeats with a great fidelity. Tube-based units tend to have a warmer, rounder tone, whereas the solid-state units tend to cut through a mix a bit better.

This SSTE is a super clean example that works and sounds great. It comes in its original carrying bag and it's 100% ready for action!
