Vintage Gear America is excited and honored to offer this rare opportunity to invest in an iconic piece of guitar manufacturing history. This guitar is prominently featured in text and photograph in George Fullerton's book Guitar Legends and was in his possession since gifted to him by Leo Fender in the mid 1970's while working at Music Man until his death in 2009. This is George Fullerton's 1977 Music Man Sabre II in Fiesta Red with matching headstock serial number A004243 and is possibly the only one made in this color for him. Mint as new with original shipping tissue, strap, Music Man hangs tag, Geoff Fullerton's George Fullerton COA and original hard shell case. This rare piece was part of the George Fullerton collection that included many Leo Fender owned instruments and early Fender prototypes. Not only featured in the book Guitar Legends, this Leo Fender gifted rarity was on loan to the Fullerton Museum Center from 1-16-01 to 1-15-03 exhibit "Shower the Brilliance The Leo Fender Gallery" museum receipts included. An incredible find in a super rare color, a present from an old friend Leo Fender to his soon to be his partner and the G in G & L, George Fullerton.
